Prototype

This project specifically dealt with manufacturing using aluminum extrusion and considerations for manufacturing tolerances. The video on the left demonstrates how the modules interconnect through stacking and shows the cost-saving aluminum extrusions in action.

Though the colors and finish of the prototype do not match those in the model, the fits between the parts do. Here, the aluminum was cut with a waterjet and the plastic parts were 3D printed.
