Scent Dispenser Main Body

The two halves are connected by a living hinge. The same kind of hinge is used in all the slot portions on the snap fasteners. There are four sections with identical sets of 17 cutout squares. Each square is 0.1 sq. in. to prevent the 0.125 in. diameter scent crystals from falling out. The corners would also provide improved airflow over a design with circular cutouts where the crystals could become jammed in the cutouts. There are also two squares cut out in the center of each half. These catch the snap hooks on the bottom of the flaps to attach the flaps to the main body.

The typically thickness of the main body is 0.1 in. This thickness is within the accepted limits for Polypropylene.
