Case Study: Multidisciplinary Senior Design

My multidisciplinary senior design project was to make an adapted toy for the Reach Services Clinic in Terre Haute, IN. My team of 3 started with 18 toy concepts gleaned from research into the available adapted toys and current popular toys. We then gathered feedback from industry resources (Adaptabilities, Adaptive Tech Solutions, and Enabling Devices), personal contacts, and the therapists at Reach Services.

The finished products were given to Reach Services in the spring of 2020; despite unexpected circumstances, we adapted to get Reach finished products and generated plans for possible next steps if another team would like to build upon our ideas. (Fall 2019 - Spring 2020)
